You all know me. You know I have always been consistent on the subject of open relationships, how all should be transparent, left on the table for discussion with your partner. I have never strayed from a consistent belief that all GOOD relationships are based on only two things -- communication...truly open, honest, liberal exchange between two people...and trust...the rock on which that communication rests. They are interchangable entities -- one cannot be espoused without the other, and I've never, ever seen it show me anything else. And I have always craved this woman in my life, whereever she may be.
Okay...this morning.....I just got an e-mail from someone I have known for 25 years. This is someone with whom I've worked and lived and loved and supported (and she for me as well). I had shared with her some of what I'd done online with regards to dating, blogging, etc. I mentioned that I had joined a swingers site online to find those women I want to meet. For me, such openness is reflective of a higher, more philosophical approach to life and is NOT just about the sexual back-and-forth.....Well, I just got an e-mail back this morning from her, where she calls me 'irresponsible' and 'suffering from a lack of commitment in my relationships' and 'being unfaithful....No wonder you don't have a woman...'
OH...MY...GAWD!!!
I am through! I am so tired of keeping myself TO myself. Fed up. I just don't get how and why people do this shit. It's totally okay for her to share her problems with coke, men, etc. But for me to share the steps I'm taking in my own life to find fulfillment...and for this bitch to JUDGE me, instead of wishing me luck, at the very least....THAT'S IT. I'M DONE. I JUST DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY PEOPLE DO THIS SHIT!!! I know it's about THEIR insecurities, THEIR feelings on the matter. But Christ, it's been 25 fucking years....don't you know me by now, woman???
So I shared this with one of our friends out here and got the idea to do this as a post. Talk to me. What in the world is wrong with people, and why do we always have to put ourselves in a position where we shoot others down for their views?
AAAAAARRRRRRGGGHGHHHHH!!!!

Soundtrack of My Life (Tagged)
This came to me from MyButton, who got it from Kyra. I have to admit that it intrigued me, but because I'm a bit older than some of you, many of the tunes may not make sense. Plus, they will encompass multi-genres. So...here we go...
The Theme:
"I've often felt that my life has a soundtrack. Don't we all have one? There are songs that remind me of different times of my life, different places and different things. And of course, since so many songs are about love, romance and breaking up, it is inevitable that our life soundtrack includes songs that remind us of our past relationships."
The Rules:
Write a post about the soundtrack of your life. Please include somewhere in the body of the meme "This was started by Kyra (last refuge of the lonely housewife)... I want to google to see how far and wide this meme travels." The focus is intended to be on past relationships, but it's your soundtrack. You write it the way you want it.
And so I will. I cannot limit it to just relationships...so I'll touch some other places.

Riders On The Storm -- The Doors
Love this song. Love the sound effects of the rain and thunder in it. It does signify that my own life has had its stormy moments and yet somehow, I've been able to come out the other side in a good way...eventually.
Moondance -- Van Morrison
The first tune I ever heard that had any leanings toward my love of jazz. And "Moondance" is how I look at relationships, too -- free, open, unencumbered, no boundaries to hold us back... just like the moon in its nightly dance of love.
So What? -- Miles Davis
A perfect tune...cool and inviting at the same time. I own in real life a calm demeanor on the outside, while inside, the emotions and passions are constantly churning and working...and my love for jazz reflects that as well. And in our applique here, well, I dearly LOVE women...their intelligence, their instincts, their passions when we men just let our jealousy die and allow them to be what they want to be...because when you do that, they will come back. Go check this tune out and see how right I am.
It Makes No Difference Now -- Merle Haggard
I can hear it now....WHO?...This is an old-school country tune by a legend of the genre.
"Let things happen as they will, and I'll get by somehow...
I don't worry 'cause it makes no diff'rence now."
Of course, that's not precisely accurate. We all have the pain to deal with when relationships reach their climax. The trick is to find the strength within us when that happens. And it always happens...we need to recognize where we can be resourceful and how to utilize those resources when we need them most. Our relationships serve OUR purposes, no matter what they are. And once they are over, well, they HAVE made a real difference in us. But what the song says is that it doesn't matter what happens in life...eventually we need to move forward to the next relationship, the next job, the next situation. Because that's what life is.
Green-Eyed Lady - Sugarloaf
From my senior year in high school, first year in college. It was a one-hit wonder for this group from Denver. It's a fantasy about a woman of the sea, a child of nature. And one evening, a young lady and I listened to this song (on a 45 rpm recording...ask others what THAT is) as it repeated and repeated...and we fucked and sucked and felt and masturbated and explored each other for nearly two hours while her parents were gone. And both of us learned as much about lovemaking (as opposed to just fucking) in that evening as in any time in the old days. We remained friends for years until she got married and moved to Florida.
With A Little Help From My Friends - Joe Cocker
The single greatest cover of a Beatles tune in the history of rock music. In its blues riff, it speaks volumes to those of us who yearn for a depth, a passion in our friends and lovers that is hard to attain. I defy anyone to listen to Cocker here without getting caught up in its endless thirst for the touch of others.
Whole Lotta Love - Led Zeppelin
If you listen to this and this of anything else but pure fucking, you don't get the song. There's even a drum/percussion section in it that, to many, simulates two people throwing themselves at each other. Another song from high school, and the standard by which most metal groups compare themselves today....I love this recording...it reflects how two (or more) people really should dive into sex with an abandon, even in the tender moments. In other words, it's about committing yourself to the road and the risk in life.
Ball and Chain/Piece of My Heart - Big Brother and The Holding Company
...and if you don't know this late 60s group, just two words - Janis Joplin. I picked both songs, because one is original in the band, while the other is an old Bessie Smith blues tune from the 30s. And because of Joplin's absolute wailing on both. Her own animalistic singing is the sound I hear in my head when I help a woman orgasm...it's the sound I want her to make!
Parker's Mood (lyrics by King Pleasure) - Charlie Parker
Yes, you read right...King Pleasure was the man's professional name. Late 40s tune by the great jazzman Charlie Parker that Pleasure (I can't even write his name without laughing) adapted from Parker's saxophone solo for a later recording. It was one of the first examples of vocalese - adapting lyrics to instrumental lines...And it predates rap and sampling by about 50 years. It talks about a man dying...yes, dying...and going to heaven. For him, heaven was Kansas City. Now we all have our own vision of whatever that is, and I'm not going to pontificate. All I know is that when I first heard this - and then when I began singing it - I finally understood the concept of 'taking flight', of letting your spirit soar to whereever it takes you, having the faith that a better place is at the end of it all. Whether I believe it or not, every time I hear this, I get caught up in the trip.
Ballet Suite From "Billy The Kid" - Aaron Copland
What? Classical music on a list like this? You betcha. This was the only piece of classical music that my father ever paused to listen to...he liked it because he said it sounded like a cowboy movie. It was THE positive moment that I remember of our relationship. The rest, well...the rest is for another time.
Suite: Judy Blue Eyes - Crosby, Stills and Nash
There were two or three groups I followed feverishly, and this (with sometimes Neil Young) was one of them. The song is an opus to love. It was a Stephen Stills salute to his girlfriend at the time, Judy Collins...another great artist of the era. There was an ethereal quality here that I retain inside me to this day.
Love The One You're With - Stephen Stills
...and by extension, this anthem that personifies my own approach to love:
"If you're not with the one you love, honey -
Love the one you're with."
We all should take care of each other in the best way we can.

There are SO many others, friends. I haven't even touched yet my passion for jazz and blues and women....But this is where I would start. Tagging? God, I don't know where to start there, either. I invite you instead to please take Kyra's idea here and put it to your own standards, your own experience. I could make half a dozen lists on this.
Thank you, Button.

Letter #1 - Distracted
Good morning, Distracted...
How many times, I wonder, have I thought of you over the time we've known each other, even in space? I don't put anyone on a pedestal, and I won't start now. But I admit that there have been times when I've thought of you incessantly. The appeal you offer in your words...the feeling of passion you place into each thought...and then when I received the privilege of your gorgeous picture...well, all of it adds up to quite a woman. I imagine you this way.... You are on a patio or porch. You wear light clothing of deep colors. You have a glass of wine and you are simply waiting. For whomever shows up, for whatever good company arrives, and you are ready from the beginning for pleasure and for pleasing and being pleased. You can't get any earthier than that, and that is SO hot to me.
The things that grabbed me from the beginning are your enjoyment of both sexes (almost unconditionally) and your vulnerability. First...your bisexual nature is so incredibly attractive and probably is to both sexes. I'm sure that even if I didn't own such an open and tolerant attitude, I would be really happy simply watching you enjoy either a man or a woman or both at once. There aren't many like you in the world, so I hope you revel in your uniqueness. The constant passion you share...Jesus, woman, I'd LOVE a piece of that...:)
But moreover, you own this stark vulnerability that you unconsciously incorporate into your psyche and make it a strength of your character. You have a wonderful way of questioning what you are experiencing that shows the soft side...almost like a young girl...while you throw it into the mix and figuratively, if not literally say "Fuck it...let's see what happens!" Oh my God, how utterly attractive and alluring that is to me, and it offers no doubt at all that you are a woman of emotional substance. And when too many of us out here are superficial, that's a benchmark.
To grab your hips...to shove my cock in you from behind...to slap your ass and make that sound ring from the strength of its noise...to hear your voice in gutter lust enjoying every slow shove, every rapid thrust...and to know that you would like it anyway that I would offer it...well, there you are. To grab your thick hair and make you swallow up my cock and know that you are eagerly wanting to please me...To line up all your lovely toys and just watch you work them in and out and for yourself....well, I make no bones about it, honey, I would love to enjoy you. And lap you up and make you find that place after orgasm that you love so much. There will come a time, you see.
No matter whether it's Sir or She in your life...you still can call me Ron and keep inside you the fact that I think you're a real free spirit, one with whom I easily identify. Now...we need to find some way to cut the miles a bit. Let time take care of that.
Your Friend.....Ron

Rejuvenation
Got some energy. So...two things for all of you.
I am starting the Harem again. For those of you who don't know, the Harem is a series where I will ask you what you like and don't like sexually...preferences, situations, people, toys, anything at all. Then I construct a story for you, based on what you'd like to share. Just find my e-mail address and let me know, if I've not yet reached out to you. I've had great times and many of our friends are members...A.Secret, Distracted, the Cheating Wife, Nitebyrd, Firebyrd, many others. I always enjoyed it and would love to kick it back into gear. You want a second story, let me know. Wouldn't mind writing for a guy, either. I do my best to make you all look good and enjoy every second.
The other thing.... I have another series in mind. Letters. To each of you. Seducing you or placing you in a romantic or hot setting of MY choosing. Then hopefully exciting you in words to the point that you want to fly here to Chicago and fuck me...:)....Hey, we all have dreams... but short of that, just know that I value highly anyone for whom this is given.
Just let me know what you'd like. If you have questions, ask our friends out here...They will hopefully tell you that I offer respect and hot, fun times and gutter language (because that's what I like) and, well, it's just who I am.
The light is on, and I"m waiting....

So It's Like This...And I'm BACK!
I had a visit from Dana, an old friend, in the last 10 days or so. She was in Chicago for a couple of days on business and we hooked up for lunch. Lots of laughter, stories, remembering, etc. A nice time. I had to go back home to be a part of a conference call for one of my actors' unions, of which I'm a member and an elected representative. She came back to my place with me. Her flight out of O'Hare wasn't for another four hours.
So I start the call. Lots of inane, stupid voices on the phone, all wanting to be heard and all being pretty "me-me-me", as actors will do. I put my cel phone on mute and placed it on the coffee table in front of me. I yell to no one in particular "Why are these people always so FUCKING selfish!!??" My friend heard me from the kitchen -- she'd gone out to get me a beer and herself a soda...I knew this call was going to be going for a while. Fuck...She put the beer down and then took a long drink of her own. Then...a really nice surprise...
Dana came to between my legs and began to undo my belt. Then my pants. Then she softly grabbed my cock and began playfully flipping it from side to side. "You lean back, Ron", she said quietly. "We both know you need this." Fuck yes, I needed it and badly. When I was erect and hard, she started stroking me slowly and easily. It was such a nice surprise, kids, let me tell you... A nice, firm grip. A little love and care with it. Thank you, whomever inspired this.
When she went down on me, she didn't do it delicately...she absolutely inhaled my cock and made me cry out in lust. If you've kept up with me, you know that I'm a really noisy, verbal fucker in sex. Nice, long, sucking strokes with her mouth. Using her voice as a vibrator of sorts, because I had done that to her many times. And she was always one of those women who was ready to try anything. I grabbed her hair and yanked her head down on my cock...fucking her mouth as I wanted to so harshly, so physically...She moved right with me. Oh my fucking god, just what I needed. The last few weeks had been very difficult and time-consuming, and I just wanted someone to take care of me for a little while...
I fucked her mouth hard and fast, pulling the sides of her hair up and down along with me. Later she told me it hurt like hell, laughing as she said it...I apologized and she said "Not to worry." Anyway, we are moving like fucking dogs like this for a strong ten minutes. When I get close to the cum, she grabs my phone...yes, you see what's coming...She paused long enough to say "Okay?" "Fuck YES, honey...When I get there, hit the button!" So THEN I really went at her, because I wanted that cum so much. Right on top of it, I yelled "NOW!!!" She hit the mute button and there I went: "OOOHHHHFUUUUCCCKKK!!! FUCCK, FUUCKCKCKK!!!"
The entire nation went silent.
Dana did one of those great let-the-cum-ooze-out-the-mouth moves during my orgasm, which made it all the more erotic and hot. Fucking her as hard and loud as time would allow...my crotch was a mess of my spunk, her spit and a lot of thankful energy. Finally we heard:
"Who in the fuck is THAT???" She quickly put the phone back on mute and we laughed like hell.
THERE'S a woman for you.

HELLO, EVERYONE!!!
The play I'm directing FINALLY opens this week. Then I"ll be back to join the fun. I've kept up as I can...and last week got a surprise blowjob from an old friend which I can't wait to share with you...but I have to get through the week.
Just so I feel a part of you all, I'd appreciate a note to say hello. I'm not at all needy, you know that. But I've been a bit detached lately, because of work mode. So just let me know we're still friends, that's all...
And thank you. The light is always on for you...

Hello, All!
Still hard at work on this play...much more involved than I ever thought it would be. No romance right now, just trying to pay the rent.
Thought I'd give you all a laugh and tell you that today.... Uncle Ron is the EASTER BUNNY here in Chicago. At a brunch downtown. I look like a giant pink Peep...yes, the costume is fucking pink...
Your laugh for the day... I'll be back, kids. Owe a couple of Harem stories and just some general gutter talk. Hope you're still here...:)
